RMM TBS Discovery: Batteries

Very Excited to Finally get new Batteries, Quality Batteries, I was not not aware that there are so many aspects about a LiPo that one has to understand and Calculate, and just like with everything else when it comes to anything really but in particular what could potentially be a deadly flying machine don't cheap out on it. Buying Quality Batteries is probably just as important as having your flight controller calibrated.
Ok Maybe im going a little overboard with this but for example when i decided to go 4S i was just looking for a good deal not really knowing about what Discharge rate i need or anything like that, i just knew it had to be 4s between 2500-4000, so i saw the new Turnigy MultiRotor Lipos 4s 4000mah, and it weight the same as the 3000 Zippy i picked out , well i thought wow what a an awesome product, well i did not understand what impact a discharge rate can have on performance, and the fact that your Li-Po could BLOW UP!
SO I decided to go to my new favorite web store, GETFPV.COM, for anything multirotor these guy have all the best quality stuff, as you could tell from the BOM most of everything on my Quad came from them.
I have been reading nothing but great things about their batteries, and the weight to performance ration is outstanding, oh and did i mention the price is SUPERB too.
anyway lets see what came today.

First of confirm that the packs came balanced which they did

Never thought i would find batteries good looking lol
A
It amazes me how little differnce in dimension there is between the 3300 and 4200mah versions, but dont be fooled, the weight differnce is what really matters
Now that is a very pleasant surprise, they include plug covers, which they did say on the website, so i am actually lieing that i am surprised, but its a great thing that the company includes, that, non of my other batteries came with little covers

Comparison to a not very much cheaper Zippy battery that i have been flying with.
What the Batteries Came Like

Review: FatShark Dominator v2 (Part 1 of 3)

This review will be broken down into 3 parts: Part 1 = The goggles, Features, thoughts Part 2 = DVR Quality, How to Operate Part 3 = Accessories, Reception Quality Shoot OUT( 3 different Antennas Tested) Hello everyone, i have recently had a chance to enjoy the FPV experience with many different sets of goggles including the FatShark Dominator v2, FatShark Attitude SD, Skyzone Diversity goggles and even the Quanum monitor/goggles DIY set up. In this post i will focus more on the newly updated Dominators, some people call them version 2.2, because the company had made some major changes in the positive direction for these goggles. As stated above i have tried many different solutions for flying FPV. Let me just say get this out of the way, if you are flying via monitor and not goggles you are doing yourself an injustice because your experience is not at all what it should be. There is no other feeling like feeling that you are sitting inside of your little 250 frame zoomin

The Beast: QAV-R 5" 220mm FPV Quad

So we have been doing a lot of writting and explaining, and some people have asked for a simpler post for those who have a slighhtly better understanding of the technology. So in this post we are just going to show off some pictures and provide you a parts list and prices if you chose to build the same exact quad as we are offering as the $500 package deal for the built and tuned quad, 2 Grapheen Batteries, 4 sets of DalProp Crystal 5x4x3 QAV-R is the next generation of the QAV-210 which now offers a removable arms in an X shape, which should provide better handling, as well as the arms are now thicker but more narrow allowing for better thrust values and not loosing the durability. Parts List: Frame: Lumenier QAV-R 5" 220mm Quad with 4mm Arms            $115 Carbon Fiber X Brace                                                            $5 Power Distribution & OSD: RedRotorRC RROSD PDB with Current Sens.                    $35 Flight Controller: MotoLabs

210-220mm FPV Quads. King of the Jungle

The last couple of month had been full of new product releases and tons of beta testing. RushMore Mods is always in pursuit of making sure we are at the very edge of the latest and greatest technology but ensuring that these products can withstand the abuse and time. After much testing we have settled on our new Flagship machine. 5" Propellers are the best of both worlds. They are small enough allowing you to run a smaller build but still providing you with insane thrust. This allows us to shrink the frame from the 270mm down to 210mm, and making the frame smaller, lighter, but more robust. Smaller motor to motor distance equals to better handling. Also getting the frame to be close to the X shape also improves handling of the quad as the software that runs these quads is designed for an X based machine. We have decided to use only the best of the best hardware on the market, the tried and true parts that we and the online community know will st
