Like Promised this post is intended to help you grasp of what kind of HardWare/Components you need. How to make them all work in Harmony!
If you think about it on a general Perspective it should not be very hard to FPV
All we want to do is strap a camera on what ever we are flying, then stick its output cables into the Video transmitter, and DONE!!
First of if it was this easy i would not be spending my time creating this post, trying to prevent people from loosing their very expensive investment on simple inexperience, and lack of research. Frankly i am tired of hearing people loosing their machines over and over again. Its absolutely devastating, here we build something for ourselves, that is our hobby, something that makes us happy, and then bam all of the sudden it is all over.
I think the real problem are the websites that are trying to convince people that you need very minimal skills to build and tune something like this, or even worse now, they are selling the extremely cheap complete FPV kits, claiming it was professionally build with fpv gear.
I have seen many horror stories of clients bringing the machines they have purchased online, Just because some kid found all the cheapest hardware he could find, and slapped it all together does not warrant them to say that it is professionally built.
I believe that receiving an untuned built machine is just as bad as making the customer build the machine also, because for people who are just starting in multirotors and want a turn key package, but get something that is unflyable and they loose it in the process of trying to make it flyable.
In the RC Industry you pretty much get what you pay for. That is why we never stop researching, testing products, and coming up with better more improved solutions and at the same time expanding our partnerships with other manufacturers to bring you the best quality Multirotors at an Affordable Price. Why Could We not take a camera and just plug it in to the TX, and call it a day? Well we could and people do do it all the time, but i don't think they realize that the quality of the video and the range gets cut significantly. Also would you ever drive a car that has no Speedometer, or the one that has no Fuel Level Gauge? I don't think so.

On Screen Display allows you to have vital information overlay over your video feed so you know what is happening to the Bullet you just put in the air.

For Example:
You are interested in the Mini Multirotors. FPV Racer.
means you are wanting a smaller size machine, that you would not fly very far but instead because its small and insanely fast you can explore the immediate areas and their nucks and crannies.
Now that we know what it is that you are leaning towards we can explain that there is absolutely no need to spend the money on GPS systems, and crazy telemetry systems, due to the fact that you will never use them.
On the OSD side its also better, the faster you are going the less things should be on your screen, because every dot that takes up the screen with letters of numbers of logos is a little tree branch that you would have seen otherwise.
OK so now we know you do not need a very comlex FPV system, just want to Know your Voltage, Amperage, and how much battery you have consumed, Signal Strength and Flight time Maybe?

Unfortunately it does not Stop there:
We are up to Camera + Transmitter + OSD
you put it all together and then bam video quality is horrible, you think you need to get more powerful transmitter. WRONG!
What a lot of companies dont want you to know that it take a lot of testing and experience to have a truthfully good system. They dont tell you that your motors and ESC and other electronics are producing interference for your Video Signal, and there is a way to Filter that out, with quality ten times better then you upgrading for more power.
Now your FPV System consists from Camera , TX, OSD, Power Filter.
Then Lastly is the number one reason people destroy their equipment on the first day.
Everyone needs to understand that this industry is exploding like no other, there is a ton of companies trying to compete for your money, so they are not spending the time to get together and make sure that every bodies products play nice with each other.
No because your camera runs on one voltage, your transmitter on another, and OSD on another, so now you have to start buying special voltage regulators and such.
